Highlights

• I'm a behavioral/experimental economist interested in how social factors and social identities matter for economics. So far, this has involved questions concerning health and human capital. 

• Since 2018, I have been an Assistant Professor at Amherst College. One of my favorite things to do there is to advise student economics experiments. 

• Ethnic fragmentation made COVID worse. (AEA Papers and Proceedings; with Roland Pongou and Marie Christelle Mabeu). 

• Happiness is not utility.  What do Happiness Data Mean? Theory and Survey Evidence (JEEA; with Dan Benjamin, Marc Fleurbaey, Ori Heffetz and Miles Kimball).
